An important aspect of our ministry is developing partnerships in mission with those abroad as well as at home, raising funds and awareness,. Such partnerships bring a global dimension to our work. The Wider Concerns Committee (WCC) leads this work.
-
The emphasis is on partnership with local communities taking the lead in what they consider is best for their community.
-
The range of projects includes homes for street children, family support for orphans, skills training to enable independent living, medical training, and income generating schemes.
-
The main support is in Ethiopia, India, Darfur, and the Middle East.,
Ukraine – in recent months we have been particularly raising funds for humanitarian aid for Ukraine and providing support for Ukrainian refugee families in Cambridge.
