We're looking forward to welcoming you to Great St Mary's, the University Church, Cambridge. Whether you are coming to the church to pray, to photograph our historic building, or to climb our world-famous tower and buy a gift in the shop, you are most welcome.

Please note: between Monday 23rd February and Friday 20th March the Tower will be closed to visitors from Monday to Friday, but open as normal at weekends (Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm, Sunday 12 noon - 3.30pm

Climb Our Tower
Come experience our world-famous panoramic views of Cambridge! Climb the 123 steps of the University Church tower and enjoy a 360° view on our newly-refurbished outdoor viewing platform.

Hours
Monday–Saturday 10.00am-4.30pm (last entry at 4.00pm)
Sunday 12 noon–3.30pm (last entry at 3.15pm).
Sunday varies depending on service times, please check.
Tickets
£7.50 for adults
£6.00 for individual accompanied children (age 5-16)
£22.00 for a family ticket (2 adults + 2 children)
Under-5s go free.
Tickets are for sale in our gift shop. Reservations are not required for individuals, but groups of 10 or more should book in advance - specific rates apply.
Please note the last entry to the tower is 30-45 minutes before closing time.

Michaelhouse is our medieval chapel, community centre, and café, just to the north of Great St Mary's on Trinity Street.
Whether you're looking for the best coffee in town, a homemade pastry, or an organic and delicious meal, or a quiet place to pray, be sure to visit Michaelhouse.
